Shipping Policy
At Modern Compound, we ship your order carefully and keep you updated along the way. This policy explains where we ship, how long it takes, what it costs, and how preorders are handled.

Order Processing
Orders are processed within [1–2] business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation with tracking details by email (and, where you've shared a number, by SMS or WhatsApp).
We currently ship across India only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery after dispatch:

Metro cities: [3–5] business days
Other locations: [5–7] business days
Remote or interior areas: may take longer depending on courier reach and PIN-code serviceability.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery can be affected by courier delays, weather, regional restrictions, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Charges
Orders above ₹549 ship free. Orders below ₹549 carry a flat shipping fee of ₹70. 
Any applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
Preorders
Some products are available for preorder before general stock is ready. For preorders:

You pay a 50% deposit to reserve your unit. Your order is not dispatched at this stage.
When stock is ready, we'll contact you (by email, and where possible by phone or WhatsApp) to collect the remaining balance.
Your order is dispatched only after the full balance is paid. Standard processing and delivery timelines above then apply from the date of full payment.
Estimated dispatch windows for a preorder are shown on the product page and are indicative; we'll keep you informed if timelines change.

Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
Please ensure your shipping address and contact number are accurate at checkout. We're not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or no one was available after the courier's attempts, the order may be returned to us. We'll contact you to arrange re-shipment, which may incur an additional shipping charge.
Damaged or Missing Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged or tampered with, please refuse the delivery where possible, and email us at customersupport@moderncompound.com within 48 hours with your order number and photos of the package.
If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your order, contact us within [48–72 hours] and we'll investigate with the courier.
Replacements and refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
